Lesson 1: Configuring PowerCenter client tools to access repository.

Once Power Centre Informatica Server and Client are installed, steps described below are required to access PowerCenter repository.

1. Launch Informatica PowerCenter Repository Manager.
2. Click on Repository-> Add Repository (As shown below).
3. Enter the Repository name and user name in the dialog box that appears on the screen.
4. Click OK and you will see a repository added.
5. Double click on the repository added above and another dialog box as shown below appears on the screen.
6. Click on ?More? button and the following dialog box opens.
7. Click on ?Add? button and the following dialog box opens. Enter the Domain Name, Gateway Host and Gateway Port in the dialog box shown below and click ok.
8. Enter the password and click on Connect as shown below.
